Advanced Learn to Play (ALTP): SYHA offers the ALTP program option for kids ages 9 and older. It's designed to provide kids developmentally ready for a more fast-paced introduction to the fundamentals of hockey and skating than our traditional LTS/LTP provides.
● Intro to hockey and skating fundamentals
● Small group, non-competitive, individualized setting
● Some equipment available to borrow
● Run by SYHA coaches
● Thursdays, 7:30-8:20 pm at Veteran’s Rink Somerville, August 29 to March 27
The LTP Clinic is for women of all skating abilities who want to learn the basics of hockey: turning, stopping, puck handling, passing, shooting, and rules of the game. Experienced SYHA coaches and volunteers will teach it.
This year, SYHA will be offering payment options for a full season or three partial sessions for WLTP.
